Patrick Mosimann - Founding Director
Patrick is a co-founder of PMSI and has led major client engagements and has significant experience across a number of industry sectors. His prior experience includes consulting at Strategic Planning Associates (now Mercer Consulting), working on projects in Banking, Telecoms, and other industries. He also worked at the investment bank Morgan Grenfell (now Deutsche Bank) and with Arthur Andersen on audit assignments in Europe. Patrick holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.Sc. (Econ) from the London School of Economics, University of London.
'If you think about it, the traditional strategy consulting model is flawed, with the value of a typical project quickly deteriorating over time as conditions change. Having observed the professional world from my perspective, it became clear to me that a new consultancy model was needed. This is why PMSI is different, with a service model that is designed to be dynamic rather than static, generating lasting value and therefore representing a better investment for a client.  Generating the performance improvement insights to our clients, at any time, from any angle and also remain cost effective, has been PMSI’s goal and today its unique proposition.'

'The unique combination of skills that Patrick and I have has allowed us to transform PMSI into a radically different consulting operation with unique capabilities. I am passionate about creating a support capability within PMSI that offers clients real competitive advantage through the clarity of insight provided by our approach and toolkit. After 9 years working in blue chip businesses I wanted to create a consulting company that had the capability to form lasting partnerships with our clients founded on deep understanding of their business and markets. To achieve this requires continuous investment in our capabilities which we have undertaken at an accelerating pace since the business was established. We plan to continue investing in these capabilities to become a significant force to improve the quality of business insight and decision support.'
